WHAT IS GEOTECHNICAL INSTRUMENTATION?
Geotechnical instrumentation refers to the installation of sensors and monitoring devices within a borehole or at depth to measure ground behavior over time. Instrumentation programs are used to monitor groundwater levels, pore water pressure, lateral ground movement, and slope stability — providing engineers and project owners with the data needed to make informed decisions during and after construction.
