Challenge
A new wind farm development in Chugwater, Wyoming, with a foundation program spread across an expansive site. The developer needed subsurface data at every turbine location to inform foundation design and confirm terrain suitability.
What we did
Drilled 50-foot borings at strategic locations throughout the project area. Multi-rig field operations let us cover the full footprint without idle time. Every boring logged, every sample tagged, with detailed subsurface profiles delivered to the engineering team.
Outcome
8,000 feet of geotechnical drilling completed in October 2025. Subsurface data supported turbine foundation design across the site, including renewable energy infrastructure planning for the wider development.
OUTCOME
Subsurface data supported turbine foundation design across the full project footprint. Multi-rig field operations kept the program on schedule.
