Challenge
The campus master schedule had foundation pours starting nine weeks out. The engineer of record needed boring logs, sample lab work, and recommendations inside that window, across 14 boring locations on a 320-acre site.
What we did
Two concurrent crews ran from sunrise to dark. Standard penetration tests at two-foot intervals through overburden, then NQ wireline coring into bedrock at the building pads and cooling-tower foundations.
Field logs PDF'd the day each boring closed. Cores boxed, photographed, and shipped overnight to the project lab.
Outcome
6,200 feet of footage, 14 completed borings, 11 calendar days on site. Logs in the engineer of record's inbox the same evening they came out of the ground. Foundation design held to schedule; site broke ground on the original campus plan.
Pending client permission for direct quote. Will be replaced with client attribution once approved.
